Tesco ~ Every little shit can be helped…..

Another day, another fantastic idea from the BBC / Nu Labour alliance. It appears that they are hatching a plan to take the data Tesco et al use to spy on us pesky citizens build a map of where immigrants are settling in the UK. As a completely benign entity, they obviously won’t use it to identify naughty smokers, drinkers or those who eat too much cake. No, just to identify where all of those pesky foreigners are. Now, I am tempted to start eating Polish sausage every day of the week just to piss on their cornflakes, but the story does allow one to draw some interesting conclusions, namely;

1) The Government is admitting that private sector companies are better at collecting data than governments (who can’t even work out where people live). Thus the ID card scheme will fail, thus it should be scrapped.

2) The government is admitting that whatever you thought data was being collected for, it can eventually be used by the government for any purpose whatsoever. Thus, a compulsory DNA database will be abused, will be an infringement on peoples rights, and should never be muted again.

3) Ms Blears should be boiled in hot oil.

  1. Unbelievable. We need a Bill of Rights to protect us against these kind of intrusions.

  2. Point 3 virtually goes without saying.
    In fact, you should sign off every post you publish with it.

  3. Correction: Ms Bleary should be marinated in creosote and pigswill THEN boiled in hot oil.
