More on the death of Freedom

So, just to be clear, and more as a point of principle to the armed wing of the BBC / Nu Labour alliance, than a dig at anyones beliefs (although, I do indeed believe the following);
Scientology is a CULT
Got that, Plod? Good.

Freaky, according to the guardian there would appear to be a hint of an unhealthy relationship beween these people and the City of London Police.
It’s not a cult. I’m not defending them, though.
Cults are generally more religious (even if that religion is just ’sex and drugs for the leader, please’
and less an utterly cynical fake set up on the “there’s one born every minute” principle of theft. It’s a deeply unpleasant con-trick with a thin (and poorly attached) veneer of crappy sci-fi that it pretends constitutes a ‘religion’.
Definition of a cult: “Obsessive, especially faddish, devotion to or veneration for a person, principle, or thing.”
Sounds like scientology to me.
